Tradition and History

Building trusted customer relationships that grow into long-term friendships is a tradition for Howard Lebow’s family. This heritage began back in 1918 when Aaron Dolgin, Howard Lebow’s grandfather, established his first jewelry store in Toledo, Ohio. After 92 years in business Dolgin Jewelers closed and  Howard’s Uncle, Lou Dolgin retired at the young age of 87.  Howard is honored to carry on this tradition of trust in Cincinnati.

About Howard Lebow

Howard Lebow is a fourth generation jeweler beginning in 1966 working for his Grandparents and Uncle, Louis Dolgin. After graduating from Ohio University  in 1975 he managed 26 national stores in the Midwest-working primarily for two fine jewelry companies. In 1993 he opened his first Diamond brokerage office in the city of Blue Ash, Ohio, later opening a full Services showroom in the Heart of Downtown Blue Ash.

In 2006, Howard retired from the retail arena, and one year later, at the urging of his clients and the emergence of the Internet as a marketing and communication tool, he formed H. Lebow Diamond Brokers, Inc. He returned to his original concept-an expanded version of a low overhead diamond and jewelry broker offering fine diamonds in all sizes and qualities. Without the expenses of a showroom, Howard can offer even lower prices with a high level of personal service.
